How does the charger work
During the charging cycle, the charger displays the total energy delviered to the battery. Depending on such factors, temperature, the remaining energy in the battery, condition of the battery, the charging cycle may consist of an intial charging, fast charging or trickle charging. The sequenece is closely monitored by the microprocessor unit to provide ultra-fast-charging. For low capacity (mAh) batteries, the charging time is shorter.
What is Battery Self-Discharge
All batteries show a decline in charge over time.
High temperature is the main factor of self-discharge. The speed of NiMh batteries self-discharge is approximately seven times faster in 45 deg C than in 20 deg C. Age of batteries is also a factor. Old batteries self-discharge faster than new ones.
Quick Start
