The FC1000 Intelligent Battery Charger has four modes and charges all NiCd and NiMH AA and AAA rechargeable batteries. The four modes include charge, discharge (discharges the batteries and then recharges them), recharge (discharges and recharges up to 20 times to bring old batteries back to life) and test (displays the battery capacity).

Four Function Modes:
  • Charging Mode - A variety of charging current: 200mA/500mA/700mA/1000mA
  • Discharging Mode - To discharge a rechargeable battery, then charge it to help prevent a memory effect.
  • Refresh Mode - To refresh a rechargeable battery to its maximum capacity by charging and discharging the battery repeatedly until no further increase in the capacity is estimated.
  • Test Mode - To check the a rechargeable battery's capacity in mAh/Ah format.
